To mark 15 years of the event, the racing format this year reintroduced the team challenges seen in earlier years. There were fun teambuilding games such as “Ski Walk”, “Pass the Water”, “5-legged football”, and “Skipping” as well as many challenges for the cyclo riders and passengers during actual race legs (parcel carrying, flag catching, slalom). Speed was no longer the only factor but flexibility, communication and teamwork too.
