Project 3E (Educate, Enrich, Employ) is a joint fundraising initiative launched by ANZ Vietnam and the Saigon Children’s Charity three years ago in a bid to help provide a quality education to underprivileged children living in the Long My District, Hau Giang Province.

So far on this journey, thanks to various ANZ events and activities both here in Vietnam and across the globe, seven brick-and-mortar schools have been built with construction of an eighth school well underway.

To reach the goal of building ten schools and helping 4,000 kids by the end of this year, on Sunday 5 March 2017, ANZ colleagues, friends, family and customers from across the region will embark on the ‘The Great ANZ Cycle Ride’ in an attempt to fundraise US$50,000 to build two more schools.

The flagship event will take place in the Long Mỹ, Hậu Giang province of Vietnam. The group will cycle 50km on the beaten paths and winding roads along the canals, visiting the schools which have already been built and the sites of those schools set to be built.

Similar events will be held in 13 locations around the world (Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, India, America.. just to name just a few) with more than 350 registered to participate and raise much needed funds for Vietnamese children living in poverty.
